OK OK OK!! im finally back and got it together enough to tell the story of what happened.

 

I had just gotten off work at 2am and i was headin home tired.  I also had a fresh batch of brownies and i was hungry and tryin to get one but they werent cut up! it was a solid brick of fresh brownies!  when i was pullin up round 0230hrs, steering wheel in one hand and brownie in the other (lol), i saw i was comin in at too steep an angle so i sent to correct my angle but was too close to the house.

 

The front of my house has a brick accent to it and of course thats JUST the perfect angle i was comin in at. CRUNCH! and the damage is what you see below.  The appraisal from the insurance company quoted me $1300 worth of damage. i have a $500 deductible.  that was just for the trailblazer.  the house has a $1000 deductible and the home inspector will be here tomorrow to survey that damage and give a quote.  we'll see what they say.

Well as most are reporting School is back in session!  My daughter's first day was yesterday (or as i call it the 1st day of the rest of her life!) 13yrs of bein in the system!

 

Got up and showered and dressed (all of us) fed her breakfast and assured she had all her school supplies.  School started at 8:25am and she's in the AM class. So come 8:15 we all (me, wifey, the boy, and the girl!) set out walkin her to school since her school is right at the end of my neighborhood (we're 9 houses in from the main street).  Navigatin the halls filming the whole way of course we arrived to her classroom just as 8:25 arrived.

 

Got her settled puttin her back pack away and her school box in her lil tray she went to sit wit the other kids in her kindergarten class.   She skirts this round there is one other African American girl in her class for us that was a relief.  I never met her teacher before but now that im there i look up... her teacher is freakin HOT! i can openly acknowledge it cause even wifey admitted she's sexy as... WOW! We'll leave that alone before ya'll get the wrong idea cause im just sayin! lol Anyways I film the final moments then cut tape and prepare to walk out giving her a final kiss and that id see her later on.  Walk out so they can start class sayin bye to the other parent of the other African American girl  but wifey is still hoverin at the door.  hooovering... i walk back since i was already 1/2 way down the hallway grab the strollin that she's gripped onto and start pullin to lets go!  I only had 4hrs of sleep and gotta be back in 2.5hrs to pick her up so im tryin to GO! 

 

Get back to the house and settle in, wifey goes to work I have the boy so we chill and watch some tivo's shows upstairs then downstairs  (we have 2 dual channel tivos via direct tv so to avoid overlaps we got shows up stairs and down programmed.  34 downstairs and probably 20+ upstairs... and YES Marie thats on & off season shows so its not running at all times! lol) but after 2 shows it was time to go.  Was on the phone anyways wit Ja (now goin by alias "Lil Momma") hahahahaha 

 

So wit stroller embarked out on foot again playin Mr. Mom 9 houses out to the main street and north 50yds to the school.  But bein totally distracted on the phone im walkin on school property by the portables close to the playground as if school wasnt in session! OOPS!  day 1 i aint tryin to throw the school into lockdown wit a suspicious Black male on school grounds!  So still joking and laughin on the cell i pre-empt of my current course to a less suspicious course but still goin through the school halls since they never told us where the pick up area was for the kids so im thinkin i go to her classroom. (heck its been 21yrs since i was in kindergarten i dont remember where i was picked up!) lol.  There were 2 hall monitor type women in the hallways and im on the phone w/stroller i dont think im supposed to be there so i divert again and head east to the office to inquire as its now past pick up time by 5minutes.

 

She hits the intercom to try to get her but no answer, she checks the front of the school (where pick up  is) nothing, she semi hollers down the hall to someone askin if she was down there... nothin.  I get off the phone now cause im bout to crack some heads if they dont find her and NOW.  how sad when im tempted to put a GPS beacon in her backpack to keep up wit my own kid! (not 1/2 bad of an idea though! Ever suspect yo kid is skippin school? hit up that GPS beacon and verify they butt still in class!) She eventually goes and checks the playground where she locates the teacher (who we'll call Ms. So Fly!) and all the missing kids.  They go back to the class and me and another parent go out front to stage waitin for our kids. 

 

She comes out glowin and happy she had a great 1st day!  Asked her how her day was and if she liked it and if she had any homework (like a responsible parent would do!)  we walk back to the house and crash till wifey gets home then order pizza and play Carnival Games for Wii that just came out.  That was sooo mcuh fun im totally feeling my biceps right now the day after wit all the games it has on there.  I was gettin maaad!! my daughter and I were playing this one game that you find at a carnival/fair where you roll the ball up the ramp to get it to go into one of several holes that represent points and the highter the points the further the horse on the race track runs (you'll recall this is the one REAL game from the Book of Lon: Chapter 7, Verse 21: Animal Kingdom where my daughter was in a huff that Grandma was cheating cause she kept winning beating all her grandkids) lol Well now the tides had turned she was beatin me in this game and i was tryin and she wasnt!  6 times in a ROW she beat me and gloating i was PISSED.  I was determined we werent movin to another game until i won.  finally i won so we could move on lol

 

If any of you have been on the fence about a Wii GO GET ONE. it brings families together like i said before in my case literally 3 generations.  I cant wait till the Wii zapper comes out this fall!  Bring that Duck Hunt back!
